As some people may not know, we do not have a Club Meeting at the Shop in May, August, and October. Instead, we have a weekend campout, complete with multiple bars, dozens of beers, games, and frequently live music provided by our very own Maltos Falcons Brews Band.
So, no meeting in August, come on out to the Sunfest at McGill Group Campground, near Mount Pinos (~13 miles west of Frazier Park, or about 17 miles from the I-5 Frazier Park exit). At an elevation of 7,500 feet, it's always considerably cooler than the L.A. area. Great biking trails, too! Be sure to bring your own drinking water, there is no potable water on site.
