Our annual Brew With a Falcon day is going to be a little different this year. In the past, BWaF has taken place on a set Saturday where 4 - 6 hosts across the Los Angeles area. We're thinking it would be a lot more fun to have BWaF on as many days as possible in March - just like there is a slew of basketball games in the month of March! Our hopes are to have at least 1 brew day on each weekend of the month. Makes it a little easier for everyone to make it to BWaF this year - weekends get booked up quickly with life stuff!
So here are the details: Members of the club open up their homes to other folks to brew together. Most of these sites will be unlike a shop brew - there will be no wort for members to take home. Instead, brewers will signup for a day/destination and hang out, learn, and help out.
So why do we do this? Because brewing, for all the writing and lessons, is still a craft best learned by doing and watching! It's a great excuse to have people visit each other, share a few beers, make new friends, learn a few things and have a great time as members of the Falcons!
If you're interested in being a BWaF host this year, please email what day & the city you hail from as well as beer you plan to brew to your Activity Directors Tiffany & Brent - activities@maltosefalcons.com. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out as well.
As soon as hosts commit to a date, we will post sign ups on our website. A week before the brew day, we will email the addresses to those who signed up.
