Falcons, get ready for a mind-blowing, earth-shattering line-up of Club Shop Brew Sessions coming up led by a stellar legion of first-ever brew crew leaders and some familiar favorites!
As you may have seen, I recently put out the Falcon Signal, calling for members to step forward to lead Club Shop Brew Sessions. With a dozen monthly Club Shop Brew Sessions a year and about as many members who can lead them, it's a perennial challenge to get leaders lined up for the brew sessions without burning them out.
We want to keep it fresh and interesting. And we want to give more members the opportunity to lead brew sessions on the club's 40 gallon system at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop because it's such a great way to give back to the club, get more involved in club life, help some fellow Falcons improve their brewing skills, get to know more members, and really reamp up your own brewing skills.
So I am extremely pleased to report that so many Falcons answered to call to serve that we now have leaders slated to run Club Shop Brew Sessions through July, and in October! I will post each brew session and we'll announce it as soon as we have the exact date and other specifics nailed. Here's the line-up as of now, subject to change.
December 14 - Donovan Nebreklievski, Alex Samovitz, Chris Moon - Belgian Stout
January - Ethen Adams
February - Club President Cullen Davis
March - Nancy Gold and Kent Fletcher - IPA, OR John Aitchison - sour beer
April - Tom Sisolak & Kale Bittner
May - Adrian Baez (tentative)
June - Dana Cordes
July - Ryan Merlin
October 15 - Izzy Arrieta
Watch for the announcements that a Club Shop Brew Session is up on the website and available for sign-ups and remember that members can only be on one brew session every 3 months. I highly encourage you to join a crew! Not only do you get to take home 5 gallons of wort to ferment at home, but it's also educational, a great way to meet fellow members, and a ton of fun!
