The oldest and longest running Homebrew contest in the world will be held on July 24 at MacLeods Brewing in Van Nuys. Yes, our Falcons Mayfaire is older than the NHC and has been held annualy for over 40 years. Because we're still emerging from the COVID lockdown, we're limiting the number of entrees to 250 with no more than 10 per brewer. Yes, we need judges and stewards. The BOS winner gets the premium medal in the entire homebrewing world, our beloved Hahiell Dammit bird. And we'll all salute you. We want to salute a Falcon, too. It's been a few years since one of us won. Just go to the same site and register your beers. Ignore the guidelines, there--we're back to the Maltose Falcons Guidelines this year.
Please help us out. We'll need people on July 18 to check the beers in and of course we'll need you on the 24th. And if you're a judge, we'd love to have you help with prelims. You know we'll be contacting you.
