I don't think I would ever do this since I don't eat red meat but I love the idea and use of stuff we homebrewers already have.

I don't eat eggs or cooked fish... Maybe chicken
We do it all the time and the meat cooks perfectly! You literally only need to sear the steaks 1min on each side once the have been in the Sous-Vide tank. We also just do it in an igloo cooler and put the meat in ziplocks clipped to string.
We actually made some this Sat while brewing a Oatmeal Stout and had friends over and called it Brous-Vide.

Steve and I cooked the steaks in a little Igloo cooler last night. They came out incredible. Seasoned them, bagged them up and Voila! Perfect steak. Proceeded with searing of two minutes on each side. Topped with Gorgonzola and sauteed shallots. Perfection! Thanks for the great tip!
