First missed newsletter - well that started a trend!

Club party planned for a member's house has been moved to VFW Hall in Canoga Park 

Details of how the party works - free food, beer and wine with $100 in door prizes.

First turnover in formal offices with a lot of poking and proding to find volunteers (hey, that sounds familar!)

Offices include: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and two Sergeants-At-Arms. 

Visit from the VP of the Bakersfield brew club.

Membership at the end of the first formal year- 65!

Dr. Lewis returns to explain that the dried yeast of the time were invariably infected with various wort spoilage organisms.

Fred Eckhardt's Amatuer Brewer magazine mentioned.
