I'm a married, father of one who's day job is as an optical engineer. My wife is also an optical engineer. (Take a guess as to how we met!)
Interests:
Interests? Brewing (duh), the occasional cigar or pipe, shooting... All I need is a hobby involving explosives and I'd have the complete, undivided attention of the BATFE! We all like riding. Back in my single days, I spent quite a bit of time roaming around the desert with a telescope. I hunt and fish. I enjoy cooking, especially barbecue, so adding brewing as another culinary hobby seems natural.

My favorite thus far is a Strong American Ale. I've brewed this twice. The first time used home-grown hops.

Philosophy? I just enjoy it; the doing as well as the drinking!
