Anchor Pub Crawl

Come and Join us for our Friday Night Anchor Weekend Pub Crawl. Get your Anchor Weekend started off right! This time, we're going to try something new and spend some time in the East Bay. The exact itinerary still has yet to be set, but here are the details we think we know.

7PM - We start at the 21st Amendment Brewpub near the hotel. Zambo, former brewmeister at BJ's Woodland Hills and the Universal City Karl Strauss, now runs the brewery in the pub. He's turning the mezzanine into a special "Strong Beer" month tasting party and we're invited. There are rumors of special beers to be poured. Now this isn't a "Falcons Exclusive" event, but it's always good to meet the natives.

8PM - We'll head to the Montgomery Street BART station and take a 12 minute ride to the city of Oakland. While there we'll walk three blocks to Pacific Coast Brewing Company (an extract brewpub that will change your mind about extract beers).  After PCB it's another short walk to The Trappist Beer Cafe (awesome place), and when they throw us out we'll traipse a whole 5 blocks down to Beer Revolution (a bottle shop and beer bar - think the Sandwich minus food) From there, we'll probably head on back home with our bellies full of beer and fun.
