Mayfaire Festival 2012

Join us for our annual Mayfaire fest on 19 May.  We are trying a new location this year at the KOA in ActonThe camp is located on the bank of the Santa Clara River about 25 miles away from the north SF Valley.  It has cottonwood trees, flat grassy tent area, a lodge with sink & cooking facilities, swimming pool, volley ball court, shuffle board, horse shoes, and playground equipment for kids, etc.  There is also a large wooden deck area that should accommodate our own Maltose Falcons Brews Band just fine.  They are going to cordon off the end of the tent camping area next to the lodge for us and there will be space for 6 RVs.  $20 per person covers your camping for SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY and dinner provided by our Burgermeister.  Please pay the $10 RV reservation fee if you need an RV site,  In order to get all this we could only afford to reserve for one night, so if you want to arrive Friday night you will need to make a reservation (661) 268-1214 and pay the regular fee for that night.  There is another RV group coming that weekend, so if you need a spot for Friday, you should reserve ASAP.  Bring your swimsuit, your camping gear, and beer of course, and have a great time with your fellow Falcons at Mayfaire!

So my wife and I would like to go up and check out mayfaire for the day, but most likely will not be able to camp overnight....2 lil ones to get back to. How does that saturday go? Is there a specific day itinerary for the band to play and other activities, etc? My 2nd brew is in the secondary as of today and won't b ready....what do I bring? Will there b other homebrews to taste like at our meetings? Do we pay the venue to hang out for the day if were not staying over? Thanks ahead of time, demetri

I don't know if we have a firm schedule as of yet, but in years past festivities like the band have started around 2:30 with various bits and bobs of fun, like trivia, competition awards, etc continuing on until dinner is served around 6pm.

You'll be paying us, not the campground. The ticket fee covers the cost of dinner and the facility. It includes free camping to encourage people staying over. As acourtesy to designated drivers we offer a discounted ticket that includes dinner.

I hope that answers your questions!
