Sunday, December 2nd - Join us for our monthly membership meeting. All are welcome!
The meeting starts at 11:00 am, with introductions and general business. The Grand Hydro - Drew - will present and provide liquid examples of "Holiday" style beer (& 2 Australian beers too!) Remember to bring your own tasting glass.
Then we'll move on to our lunch - POTLUCK! If you would like to bring a dish to pass, please comment below so Burgerfrau Jenna can organize the line up.
We're also bringing back our ALTERNATE INFORMAL HOMEBREW SHARING FORMAT. Instead of brewers formally presenting their beers one at a time, we'll open up the second half of the meeting to free range sharing and socializing. Since there will be much roaming, if you bring beer, please consider labeling your bottles with the beer name/style/brewer so folks know what they're putting in their glass (bonus karma for printing out recipe sheets for reference).
This will be the Club's 9th Annual Toy Drive to benefit less fortunate kids, through the Los Angeles Fire Department Spark of Love Toy Drive. Thank you Irene and Steve for leading this great charitable effort! Last year we got a great amount of toys. Let's top it this year! Please bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit underprivileged children. After the meeting, the toys will be delivered to the Fire Department for distribution to the kids during the holidays. We will be collecting the toys at the December Club meeting on Sunday, December 2, but please feel free to bring them sooner and drop them off at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop. "Troubleshooters Corner" will be available for those with specific issues or who are too shy to present to the whole group. Welcome to those who want to check out the club and welcome back to all of our old friends.

Hey all, can you comment below with what you are bringing? We need 4 main dishes, 5-7 side dishes, and a few desserts :) This gives me an idea of what might be lacking, and I can compensate or delegate dishes. My family and I will be bringing Chili Relleno bake, Baja Potatoes, chicken tamales casserole, Sausage and potatoes, and mixed vegetables.
I will bring a home made RUM cake for Desert.
