Does anybody have an opinion on using brass garden hose connectors in there home brewery? Garden hose washers are not food grade and get hot. Or am I just worrying to much?

that's not intended for hot water usage makes me feel woogy.
Don't do it man! At the very least use the polysulfone qd's
(Still saving my pennies for some SS qd's)
