Come join the crew this week for Friends of the Falcons Happy Hour this Friday 5/29 @ 5pm (PST)
As some of you might know, every week since the safer-at-home directive began, the Maltose Falcons have been hosting a virtual happy hour on Zoom. It's been a great way to reconnect! One thing we felt was missing though is that when people talk about what's in their glass, nobody else can taste it. Well, we thought about it and came with an idea!
This week we will be featuring Institution. Shaun Smith, the owner of Institution, will be joining us as a guest speaker and will discuss the beers as we are tasting them.
The Beer
Institution has prepared a 4 pack that includes the following beers:
- Vienna Lager (Vienna-style Lager, 5.4%)
- Mosaic (Pale, 6.2%)
- West Coast or Die! (West Coast IPA, 7.1%)
- Shaking Head to Toe (Coffee Porter, 5.5%)
Pricing and Ordering
The price of the 4 pack is $14.
For ordering, we're doing a bulk order through the club. To place your order, go to this page. Only the 4 pack is available for order.
You'll notice that the order page has a box to indicate what part of town you're in. This is to help organize distribution. If you don't see your area, don't panic! It's impossible to list all the communities in LA County and beyond, so please choose the location that is closest to you. Have faith that we'll do everything we can to get you your beer.
You MUST place your order through the provided link. Do not order directly with the brewery, even if you know them well. If this is a problem for you, email Bernard (president@maltosefalcons.com).
You must place your order by Wednesday @ 9 am. We will be placing the order shortly after that time.
Distribution
The club will pick up the order at the brewery on Wednesday (exact time tbd). Some of the beer will end up at Mike Resar's house (Agoura Hills), some at Bernard Lebel's house (Reseda). Meanwhile, we will begin conversations on Facebook as to how to best distribute.
We also ask that you do NOT pick up your order at the brewery before the club has picked up its order on Wednesday. Please email Bernard (president@maltosefalcons.com) if this is problematic for you.
