Firestone Walker Anniversary Brew Event

For those of you that haven't heard, we have been invited to brew at Firestone Walker Brewery by their head brewer Matt Brynildson. We will be brewing 67 barrels of a very big beer that will be added to their anniversary blending beers for next years anniversary blend and for as many years as it lasts, as well as having some on tap at the Falcons 40th anniversary party. The Falcons Board decided to brew a high alcohol American Brown Ale that I dubbed a "Browneywine"

Matt has invited as many Falcons as want to go so there is no limit. The Falcons Board is not going to do much organizing for this event so if you want to go you would have to secure your own lodging and transportation. (look for car pool info on the MF Group email) Allen Tracy who helped set this up has family in Pismo (about 45 mins from the brewery) who have hotel space and Allen has secured a rate for us if you want to go that way.

I will be staying in Paso Robles on Thursday night for the early start on Friday morning then driving to Pismo for a room at Allen's family hotel for Friday night. Should be a bit of a party after the brew there in Pismo. But you can set up your lodging any way you chose.

For hotels in Paso Robles you are on your own, but if you want to get a room in Pismo for either day contact Allen Tracy at allentracy3@gmail.com .

If your planing to go watch the MF Group email for further information.

It would be good to know who all will be there, so please sign up here so we can get an idea who will be there.
