Lime Mint Soda

When it's too hot to brew I make up a batch of soda. Lately on my days off, the last thing I want to do is stand in the blistering hot sun for a whole brew session. My kegs go empty and I grow thirsty, this soda pop recipe is my quick fit.

Malt/Grain/Sugar/Extract: 

48 Limes (or a Quart of Lime Juice Concentrate)

12 springs of Mint ( I used homegrown mint)

2-4 cups of Sugar (I used Mexican Cane Sugar)

Mashing Instructions: 

Take all the mint leaves crush them into a Coffee Press and add hot water and let steep for an hour before adding to the keg.

Extra Ingredients: 

Add Liquor of your choice if you want a kick: Volka, Rum or Whiskey!?

Special Instructions / Notes: 

I use the hot mint extract to dissolve the sugar then add fresh water with the lime juice and force carbonate a 3 gallon keg.
