The Falcons will once again be running the Los Angeles County Fair Homebrew competition for the LA County Fair. Winners will get ribbons and have their name featured on a plaque in the LA County Fair Culinary Pavilion!
Judges and stewards will get free passes to the LA County Fair!
Entries and Judge signups will open in June.
Judging will take place in St Martins of the Fields Church in Winettka, CA on Saturday Aug 2, 2014
The 2013 California State Homebrew Competition is approaching! The judging date is Nov 2, 2013.
As you might know, the results of this competition are influential in awarding the Anchor California Homebrew Club of the year award.
Since it is in the interest of everyone in the club to win this award, the Maltose Falcons will ship your entries to the Cal State competition for you!
Top four brewers selected in the second round are flow, all expenses paid, to the GABF in Denver, CO. Top two brewers (announced at the GABF) will have their beer brewed by Boston Beer and a nice $5k honorarium.
Beers for Californians are due at one of the 3 MoreBeer locations, so factor that in!
The Maltose Falcons Mayfaire Homebrew Competition is the Oldest Homebrew Competition in the USA. Your entries are due April 12. Judging will be on April 28.
