May Shop Brew - Belgian Blond Ale

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday May 13th at 8:00 a.m. Our Club Publicity Director, Steve Cook, (me) will be leading this crew with the brewing of a Belgian Blond Ale.

April Shop Brew - Belgian Strong Dark Ale

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday April 8th at 8:00 a.m. Our Club Activities Director, Kris Schmidt, will be leading this crew with the brewing of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. All Brew Crew members will be brewing on the Falcons 30 gallon all grain brew system located at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop in Woodland Hills. Members will participate in all aspects of the brewing process from measuring and crushing the grain to clean up.

March Shop Brew - The IPA's of March - First Day of Daylight Savings - DON'T show up at 9:00 am, your spot may be given away!

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday March 11th at 8:00 a.m. Our HMFIC Nancy Gold, also known as the President of the Maltose Falcons will be leading this crew with the brewing of her IPA’s of March a big India Pale Ale, . All Brew Crew members will be brewing on the Falcons 30 gallon all grain brew system located at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop in Woodland Hills. Members will participate in all aspects of the brewing process from measuring and crushing the grain to clean up.

February Club Shop Brew

Our monthly Club Shop Brew is set for Sunday February 19th at 8:00 a.m. Our Club WebMeister and Grand Hydrometer, Drew Beechum, will be leading this crew with the brewing of an Oatmeal Raisin Brown Ale. All Brew Crew members will be brewing on the Falcons 30 gallon all grain brew system located at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop in Woodland Hills. Members will participate in all aspects of the brewing process from measuring and crushing the grain to clean up. Each participant will then take home 5 gallons of wort to ferment at home at a really cheap price for their effort.

Decmeber Club Shop Brew

Our monthly Club shop brew is set for Sunday December 18th at 8:00 a.m. Our News Letter Director, Mark Poliner will be leading this crew with a unique brew. He plans on making a Juniper Rye Ale.

November Club Shop Brew

Our monthly Club shop brew is set for Sunday November 20th at 8:00 a.m. Our former President, Steve Cook, will be leading the brew crew with an American Red Ale called "Santa's Pants." Sounds kind of kinky to me. Maybe "Mrs. Claus' Skirt" would be better?

October Club shop brew

The October Club shop brew is set for Sunday the 9th at 8:00 a.m. Kent Fletcher will be leading the brew crew this time around with a special holiday ale. He comes up with something different every year at this time.
Crew members will be brewing on the Falcons' 30 gallon all grain system located at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making shop in Woodland Hills. Crew members will participate in all aspects of the brewing process from measuring and crushing the grain, to cleanup. This will take most of the day, so be prepared.

Brew 101 class

The Maltose Falcons host a brew 101 class the second Tuesday of every month at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop in Woodland Hills. The class starts at 7:00 p.m. and is only $5.
If you have ever been interested in brewing beer, and wondered how to get started, this is the class to take.
The class lasts about 3 hours, and it is taught by experienced brewers from the Falcons. They will show you how to brew using the basic equipment and ingredient kits sold at the shop.

Club Brew - Mark's Chipotle Porter

The April club shop brew has been set for Sunday the 10th. Our Burgermeister, Mark Poliner, will be leading this brew day with his Chipotle Porter. It is going to be unique.

You will be brewing on the club's 30 gallon all grain system at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop. You will learn the basics of the system, and participate in all aspects of the brewing session, including clean up. Each member will take home 5 gallons of wort at a really inexpensive price to ferment at home. It is a really great deal!

Brew 101 Class - April

Do you love great craft beer? Have you had thoughts of brewing your own but did not know how to get started? Well do we have the class for you!

The Maltose Falcons offer a Brew 101 course at the Home Beer Wine and Cheese Making Shop in Woodland Hills every second Tuesday of the month. This course is designed for the beginning brewer, and uses the basic equipment and ingredient kits sold at the shop.
